Old Glory DC Is Excited To Announce The Return Of The Road To Glory, The Team's Official Podcast

The Road to Glory aired weekly during the inaugural season in early 2020 on popular podcast streaming websites.  It quickly became OG supporter’s favorite way to consume game highlights, team analysis, interviews, and behind-the-scenes content.  2020 Hosts Brianna Kim and Roland “Roly” Pratt will return this season for weekly podcast episodes airing Thursday evenings throughout the Major League Rugby (MLR) season.

Bri and Roly will cover all that is rugby on The Road to Glory. About Old Glory DC:

Old Glory is the first and only professional rugby team in the nation’s capital, Washington, DC. Established in 2018, Old Glory DC competes in Major League Rugby (MLR), a North American league that includes teams in New York, Boston, Atlanta, Toronto, Houston, New Orleans, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Austin, Seattle, and Los Angeles. The team was founded by life-long DC area residents, business leaders, and rugby players Chris Dunlavey and Paul Sheehy. About the players of The Road to Glory Podcast:

Brianna “Bri” Kim is an assistant coach with the Old Glory U19 Academy and plays both 15s and 7s for NOVA WRFC.  Bri was co-captain of the 2019 NOVA team that won the Division 1 club national championship, where she was named MVP.  A graduate of the University of Virginia, she was a Junior All-American and two time Collegiate All-American.  Bri captained the USA Under-20s in the 2014 Can-Am series and continues to play for select sides such as Atlantis, and the Capital Selects.  Off the rugby pitch, Bri runs business operations at a local biotech startup.

Roland Pratt was the 2018 mid-Atlantic coach of the year. He has been to the U.S. Nationals as a coach in 15s and 7s.  Hailing from Donegal, Ireland, Roland played for Buncrana, Inishowen, Derry, and the Wanderers before moving to the U.S.  He played and coached the Washington Renegades, winning the Capital and MAC championships multiple times.  He is currently a level-300 coach with USA Rugby, the Old Glory Capital Selects team manager, and the Beltway Elite 7s selects founder, current manager, and coach.

Jeffrey Jose will serve as producer for The Road to Glory Podcast.  Jeff is a six-year rugby veteran at prop and hooker, and describes himself as “the oldest rookie on the pitch.”  Outside of The Road to Glory, Jeff is the host of the Breaking Rugby podcast and president of the Frederick Men’s Rugby Football Club.
