Rugby’s biggest event returns to Chicago on Father’s Day, June 21, when the two best teams in MLR battle for the MLR Shield at SeatGeek Stadium. After 11 weeks of regular-season competition, the league’s top four teams will clash in a single-elimination playoff, culminating in this single night that decides it all.
Chicago knows championships. SeatGeek Stadium hosted the 2023 MLR Championship to a crowd of 10,000+ fans, and this summer, the Windy City steps up again, bigger, louder, and ready. With world-class turf, 20,000 seats, and a full weekend of rugby activations surrounding the stadium, this is more than a game. It’s a tent-pole moment for the sport in North America.
