Old Glory announces the return of Canadian back row Luke Campbell for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. In the 2021 MLR season, Luke appeared in 5 matches for 194 minutes of game time, carried for 42 meters over ten ball carries, and maintained over a 90% tackle percentage over 35 tackles.

“I’m excited to be back in the capital for year two,” said Luke Campbell on coming back to DC. “Last year was tough for me dealing with a bad injury, but I am looking to bounce back and contribute more on the field this season. We have a great group of guys here, both as players and people. Building off of our first full season as a club, we are looking forward to giving our fans lots to cheer about at Segra in 2022!”

“Luke had a tough season in 2021 with an injury, and I know he’s keen to show the OG fans his true abilities,” said Head Coach Andrew Douglas. “Looking forward to seeing a tough, uncompromising Luke both in his ball carry and defense. Luke’s an established lineout player, and he’s experienced internationally. We’re looking forward to seeing his true self in 2022.”
