For the Family

“I took my buddy’s two kids (10 and 6) to their first game ever. I bought his son a rugby ball at the store and after the match we met some of the players and Simon to sign the ball. Everyone could not have been nicer. The team had just lost a tough match by 2 points but all the players were amazing with the kids.

Every single player asked their names, signed his ball, took photos, asked him about how he liked the game and the all said the same thing “we are sorry we didn’t get you a win for your first match, please come back and we’ll get one for you” it made that kid’s day. He talked about the game all through dinner and looked up rugby on his iPad. I stopped Simon … [to] see if he would sign his ball and despite the tough loss he said “of course I will”. Very classy of him and the team. Please give them my best and i think they made two new fans for life.”
