March 8th Schedule of Events Released

Start the weekend with the squad and coaches on Saturday at 2 PM for a free women and girls clinic at West Potomac High School in Alexandria. This is open to all ages and lead by Doug Fraser, Mungo Mason, and Travis Larsen.
 
On Sunday, we celebrate the girls and women in the Mid-Atlantic Region with a full day of festivities. The Men’s Old Glory Capital Selects kick off the day as they face Rugby ATL’s developmental side, ATL 404 at 1:15 PM.
 
At 3:00 PM, four local women’s rugby clubs from DC, Maryland, and Virginia will showcase talent in a 7s Beltway Battle. Come support DC Revolution, Frederick Rugby, Maryland Stingers, and NOVA Rugby as they face-off in four friendly 7s matches.
 
At 4:30 PM, supporters will have the opportunity to meet US National Eagle Alycia Washington at the Beast Mobile located on the concourse. Washington is a co-founder of the XV Foundation, a foundation with the mission is to establish diverse funding for the USA Women’s XVs program.
 
At halftime during the Old Glory DC v Rugby ATL, Old Glory DC will award long-time Capital Rugby Union coach, captain, and player, and USA Eagle #80, Nancy Fitz, with the inaugural Old Glory DC “With Her” Award.
 
After the game, all are invited to join the OGs and Rugby ATL at the SinBin bar for a post match social with live music, refreshments, captain speeches, and more.
