FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — (Washington, DC – December 4, 2019) – Northern Virginia-based Cuisine Solutions, a global prepared food company and masters of the sous vide cooking technique, is re-joining as presenting partner to Old Glory DC for the team’s inaugural 2020 Major League Rugby season.

As Old Glory’s presenting partner, Cuisine Solutions will have its logo prominently featured on the front of Old Glory DC’s home and away jerseys at all MLR games. The partnership will also extend further to a variety of media, hospitality, experiential, and other activation channels. This partnership was initiated during Old Glory’s 2019 exhibition season, and was so successful for both partners, that the extension into 2020 is a natural fit.

“Cuisine Solutions has to be the best corporate partner in professional rugby, maybe in professional sports, period,” said Old Glory Chairman Chris Dunlavey.  “They got into this because they know and understand rugby, its culture and values.  I’ve actually had the honor of playing against their Chairman, Stanislas Vilgrain, and some of his executives and staff.  As a company, they are so dedicated to exceptional food and its scientific advancement, its pure enjoyment – they bring style, flavor, and fun to every activation, at our games, at team events, and everywhere.”

OId Glory supporters will immediately recognize the most visible sign of this enjoyable connection:  the Big Glory, Old Glory’s signature sandwich, which was created by Cuisine Solutions for 2019 and is sure to return in 2020. The Big Glory is best described as “a sous vide protein-packed stack of grilled chicken breast, sliced top sirloin, and pork cushion.”

In addition to the jersey logo placement, Cuisine Solutions will enjoy other promotional opportunities such as hospitality accommodations at game day events. The company will garner visibility through the team’s broadcast, print, and social media outreach.

“We are supporting Old Glory DC, the new pro sport in Washington, DC, because of the commitment to building a franchise with teamwork, their commitment to the Washington, DC area and keen eye on the rugby spirit,” said Cuisine Solutions Chairman Stanislas Vilgrain.

“This is exactly the kind of partner with which we want to build our business,” continues Dunlavey.  “Based right here in the DC area but with a global reach and perspective.  Just like Old Glory rugby.”
