Old Glory DC is proud to welcome USA Eagle and 2018 Mitre 10 Cup Champion Michelangelo Sosene-Feagai to the 2020 squad

Sosene-Feagai claims two homes, Apia, Samoa and Auckland, New Zealand. Coming from two nations that claim rugby as their national sport, Sosene-Feagai grew up surrounded by the tight-knit community. Sonsene-Feagai attended Sacred Heart College and later Waikato University. Additionally, the hooker has ties to two club teams in New Zealand, Ardmore Marist and Auckland Marist.

In 2018, Sosene-Feagai joined the Auckland squad in the Mitre 10 Cup. The team went 9-1 during the Mitre 10 Cup Premiership and defeated Canterbury in the finals.

Qualifying to play for the United States birth, The hooker has 5 caps on the United State’s national squad. Most recently, Michelangelo Sosene-Feagai represented the United States against Japan during the Pacific Nations Cup in August in Suva, Fiji. The United States ultimately fell to the up-and-coming team, 34-20. The hooker will be reuniting with his teammates Jamason Fa’anana-Schultz and Thretton Palamo this winter.
