“After three incredible years as the Head Coach of Old Glory DC, my time in the role has come to an end. I would like to thank Chris and Paul for the opportunity to come to this great city and lead this wonderful club.
I am incredibly proud of the journey we have been on and what we have built together. We filled the room with good people, worked hard, did things the right way and created an Old Glory DC identity. Three consecutive playoff seasons is a great achievement, but not being able to win the big one for the owners, fans and players will always be a disappointment.
A huge thank you to all of the players, coaches and staff who have shared the journey with me. It’s been a privilege, and I’ll look back on these three years with enormous pride.
I also want to thank the Old Glory fans and the wider rugby community who embraced my family and I in such a special way. Your support, friendship and passion for the club have meant so much to us, and we’ll always be grateful.
I am excited for the next chapter.
I will be continuing to work with Old Glory and sharing in Chris and Paul’s vision of growing rugby in the DMW. Young Glory is taking enormous strides this year, transitioning from a participation model to a performance Academy, preparing the next generation of young Americans for the professional game.
We have so much untapped talent across the DMW, from young boys and girls to more established players and coaches. My role is to help find that talent, work with and alongside it, and allow the potential to flourish!
There is a lot to be excited about, and I’m looking forward to playing my part in what comes next.
