Cory Daniel is an American rugby union player known for his dynamic play as a flanker. Born in Silver Spring, Maryland, he attended the University of North Carolina, where he was a two-time all-county and second-team all-state tight end in football and an undefeated state champion wrestler.

In 2020, Cory transitioned from wrestling to rugby, signing with Old Glory DC as a crossover athlete. He made his debut with the team in the 2021 season and has been a consistent presence since. In 2022, he was selected for the USA Falcons XV for their tour to South Africa and made his debut for the full United States team against Kenya.

Daniel’s athleticism and work ethic have made him a standout player in Major League Rugby, contributing significantly to Old Glory DC’s forward pack.”
