John LeFevre

Scrum Half

John LeFevre is an American rugby union scrum-half from Lorton, Virginia. He began his rugby journey with South County Youth/West End Rugby, advancing to the Rugby Virginia Final three times and winning the National Tier II Championship in 2016.

John attended Old Dominion University from 2016 to 2020, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security while playing for the university’s rugby team. After graduation, he played for NOVA Rugby at the USA Club Sevens Nationals and in rugby XVs.

In 2021, he attended the USA U23 Pathway Camp and played in the XV Series for the USA U23 Rugby Academy. He also played for Old Glory DC’s U23 side, Young Glory, during their inaugural season.

John made his professional debut with Old Glory DC in 2022, playing five matches as a replacement. In 2023, he played 200 minutes in 12 matches, starting once, and scored one try for Old Glory DC.

In June 2024, he rejoined Old Glory DC for the remainder of the 2024 Major League Rugby season.

His local roots and dedication to the sport make him a valuable asset to Old Glory DC’s roster.”
