Owen Sheehy

Winger, Fullback

Owen Sheehy is a talented and versatile back entering another exciting season with Old Glory DC. A native of Bethesda, Maryland, Sheehy began his rugby journey at Gonzaga College High School, where he helped lead the team to secure two National Championships in 2016 and 2018.

Owen’s impressive performances at the University of Wisconsin-Madison earned him spots on the USA U19 team, Collegiate All-American honors and a place in the USA Falcons tour to South America. He quickly established himself as a dynamic playmaker, known for his vision, kicking precision, and ability to counterattack from deep positions.

Since joining Old Glory DC in 2021, he has continued to develop his game, contributing significantly in the Back 3 as well as Fly-Half. With a strong rugby IQ and commitment to growth, he remains a key part of the team’s backline, ready to make an impact for Old Glory DC in the coming Major League Rugby season.
