Ethan McVeigh

Scrum Half

Ethan McVeigh is an American rugby union scrum-half from San Diego, California. He began his rugby journey with the OMBAC Wallabies in 2009 and later attended St. Augustine High School, where he was recognized for his talent and selected for the USA U18s in 2016.

Ethan continued his rugby development at Cardiff Metropolitan University, earning a degree in Sports Management in 2022. During his time in Wales, he played for Cardiff Met RFC and was selected for the USA Falcons tour in South America, marking the beginning of his ascent to the USA National Team.

In July 2024, Ethan made his debut for the USA Eagles against Scotland. Prior to joining Old Glory DC for the 2024 Major League Rugby season, he played for the American Raptors in 2023, contributing significantly to their campaign.
His international experience and leadership qualities make him a valuable addition to Old Glory DC’s roster.”
