Old Glory DC acquire Olympic 7s champion and Fiji Captain Osea Kolinisau and former Houston SaberCats center Thomas Morani on short-term contracts.

Born in Suva, Fiji, Osea Kolinisau will join Old Glory DC for two weeks starting this week. Kolinisau has represented Fiji rugby since 2008. He went onto captain the first Fiji side to win the Dubai 7s in the 2014 Sevens World Series. Under his leadership, Fiji Sevens won the 2014/15 and 2015/16 HSBC Sevens World Series. Representing Fiji at the highest stage in sports, Kolinisau also captained Fiji to their first Olympic gold medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics. The outside back holds the most caps for a Fijian 7s player at 301 matches played, most tackles at 383, and second-most points at 1272.

From Buenos Aires, Argentina, Thomas Morani has joined Old Glory for four weeks, beginning April 19th. The inside center joined Houston during the 2020 Major League Rugby season. Previously, Morani played with the Club University of Buenos Aires (known as CUBA) in URBA Top 12, an Argentine rugby union club competition organized by the Buenos Aires Rugby Union (URBA). It is the top division of the Argentine rugby league system.
