FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — (Washington, DC – March 19th, 2021) – Old Glory DC is honored to announce the renewal of its partnership with NBC Sports Washington (NBCSW) as our Regional Sports Network Partner for the 2021 Major League Rugby season.  The partnership will allow for the airing of eleven Old Glory games throughout the mid-Atlantic (with the remainder of Old Glory’s sixteen games being carried nationally on CBS Sports, Fox Sports 1 or Fox Sports 2. The league’s championship game, scheduled for August 1, will air on CBS Network).

“NBC Sports Washington is the right home for Old Glory,” said Old Glory Chairman Chris Dunlavey.  “We need to make our games accessible for viewing to every sports fan and rugby lover of the mid-Atlantic.  To have our games running on the same channel as the Wizards and Capitals and other regional sports is simply where we belong.”

The team’s first two matches, March 27 vs Rugby ATL and April 3 vs the Toronto Arrows, will air live on NBCSW Plus. The team’s remaining nine matches will air on either NBCSW or NBCSW Plus.
